Between the hidden paths of the nature of Wemeldinge, something emerges that is difficult to explain.
Not an exhibition as you are used to.
Not a space with a clear beginning or end.
But a flood of images, where nature, humanity, and technology capture one another in art. As if you are not just looking, but momentarily somewhere else.
During the 27th Art and Nature Route, I open the world of Metamelei.
With new works — larger and more detailed than before.
Take a dive through the old dive shop of Wemeldinge
and step into a surreal, altermodernist world
where nature sets the rules.
From the early morning light and the singing blackbirds
that break the silence of the night,
the doors open to take you, as a visitor,
through my world of experience.
The morning paper awaits you,
offering a deeper insight into the works —
a small doorway that opens,
inviting you to step into the larger world of Metamelei.
The doors open on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of May 2026,
from 12:30 to 17:30.
I will be present myself to guide you on your way,
deeper down the rabbit hole.
