A bonsai – normally controlled, framed, cultivated – stands here upon the earth itself. Not in a pot, not confined within a boundary, but in direct relation to the world from which it originates.
The original work was created in graphite on 29.7 × 42 cm paper (250 gsm). The delicate nuances of the pencil work – soft tonal transitions, shadows, and root structures – remain visible in this high-quality print.
