Live Lines #11–13 — White Charcoal Bouquet on Black Paper
Original Live Lines drawing created with white charcoal and pencil on black paper. A luminous floral bouquet emerging from darkness — limited prints available.
Description
Giclée Print of a White charcoal and pencil on black A4 paper
This bouquet was not composed in advance.
It grew.
Across three Live Lines sessions (#11–13), layer by layer, white charcoal and pencil met black paper. What began as a few lines slowly unfolded into a concentrated floral structure — stems intertwining, petals opening, textures emerging from darkness.
Drawing on black paper reverses the usual logic of light and shadow. Instead of shading into darkness, the image is built by bringing light forward. Each highlight becomes decisive. Each mistake remains visible. There is no hiding in black.
The bouquet carries tension between delicacy and structure. Some forms are almost botanical studies. Others dissolve into gesture. Together, they form a compact constellation of growth — suspended in night.
This work belongs to the Live Lines series: drawings created in real time, without digital correction, guided by rhythm and presence.
