Sweet Collapse — Limited Giclée Fine Art Print


In Episodes 4 and 5 of Live Lines, color entered the series.


A pink frosted donut surrounds a distorted figure. Cones pierce from above and below. The body bends inward, caught between sweetness and pressure. What appears playful at first glance slowly shifts into something less comfortable.


The donut is not simply dessert.

It is excess.

It is comfort.

It is seduction.


The figure feels soft, almost vulnerable — pressed from both directions. Is it being consumed, shaped, protected, or trapped? The image leaves the question open.


Created live in a speed drawing session, the work carries immediacy and instinct. The colored pencil textures remain visible — layered, imperfect, human.


This edition is produced as a gallery-quality giclée print, using archival pigment inks to preserve the vibrancy of pink tones, subtle shading in skin and fabric, and the contrast between softness and structural intrusion.
